London Docklands is alive and well even though the Cutty Sark is still smouldering. We, my family and I just returned from London. We stayed in the London Docklands Travel Lodge. The Hotel is right by East India Docklands Light Railway and the staff go the extra mile to make your stay very pleasant indeed. Jump a DLR and jump off again at any place you fancy. Jump off at Canary Wharf, stroll around the shopping malls, eat at the restaurants or best of all get a box of Krispy Kreme donuts and just stuff your face with them before the Kids can devour them at the speed of a swarm of locust. Go into the city and see the sights via a bus tour or get onto the London eye. Go shopping, go see a show. Go see Nelson in his Trafalgar Square. We even had a tour of Westminster Palace thanks to our MP who got us permits just ring yours and ask. Its a great place to go and we all want to go back asap!
Great for: History/Culture, Theatre/Music, Nightlife
