Love the City, the people and not much for the food. Everythings are so expensive comparing to the US. I you are planning to visit, bring lots of money. Spending wise, one Pound spends like one US Dollard in the State. The value for your 1.00 in London is about 30 cents at home ( big mac at home is about $1.85 in london is 3.25 Pounds= $6.50)a fish and chips dinner for 4 at home is about $35, the North Sea restaurant in london cost us 65 pounds= $130. To be comfortable in London, 200 Pounds just your spending money for 2 people a day is about right. Book all your hotel rooms ahead. The Holiday Inn bloomburry booked at the ichotelsgroup.com cost me $100/night (room for 4); 275 Pounds (room for 2) at the front desk!!! Remember! to maximize your London experience, bring lots and lots of money......!!!!
