(Report Problem)I was just there for 10 days on a buying trip (I'm an antiques dealer). I absolutely love the country. the people are amazing. You have to go to Notting Hill. "Situated in the West London Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, Notting Hill's most famous street is called Portobello Road. Portobello is one of London's most historic markets and the leading antiques market in the UK. Here you can find not only an amazing collection of antiques and curious objects but also a fine selection of pubs, bars and restaurants."

(Report Problem)London is my favorite city in the entire world. I lived there for three yeas, and would go to live there again if I could. If you're into history, fun, and excitement, London is the place. The cultural events are plentiful - there's something for everyone - and on nearly every street you feel as if you're stepping back into time. It's easy to make friends - not just the English, but people from all over the world. A truly cosmopolitan city.

(Report Problem)There is no where else like it, with 2000 year old sites. Buckingham Palace is almost unreal it is so increadable. The Eye is also really cool, as just going up and down the Thames. Being prepared to get around is another mater the Tube is very good, but walking is a hazard. You have to watch for cars, buses and knockyouover if your in the way locals.

(Report Problem)we visited london as part of our honeymoon vacation and were thrilled at the vast number of things to do and see. Lots of outstanding hotels and restaurants. highly recommend taking the underground as an inexpensive way to travel within the city. take a cab - it is a pleasure you won't forget. the drivers really know the city and its history and can offer many suggestions. be aware that london, like most of europe, is quite pricey.

(Report Problem)Great history, but expensive shops. All we brought home from our last holiday in Britain was a box fo Kleenex, costing five dollars.

(Report Problem)They are now so close to France via the Chunnel that they treat U.S.Citizens just like the French, disgustingly. The money exchange rate is so bad that I don't know why anyone would want to visit there and have to pay for what they consider good food. It's terrible and the service is the worst I have ever encountered. London, Never again !

(Report Problem)London is amazing. You can either walk or underground anywhere you'd like to go. It's like stepping back in time and looking at the future all at once. I had an amazing time there!

(Report Problem)So much to see in a small distance. Every castle and palace is great. If you can, wander a little outside the city and visit Warwick Castle, and Blenheim Palace. The bus tours really are a must for your first day - they help orient you, and give you a chance to see EVERYTHING quickly. The London Eye is fun for the first day too. Don't expect much of the food. It's dismal. Try to save money on food (goodluck), because expensive isn't better, and everything is expensive. Don't bother with a rental car. Parking is EXPENSIVE and public transportation is easy to use. Driving is crazy, not because it's on the wrong side of the street, but because traffic in London is horrid. Only get a car if you'll be driving in the country to see more sites.
