(Report Problem)I love Glasgow and everybody there are so kind. I live here and the campsies are very close and then a short drive could take you to stunning areas lich lady lake or loch long. Also the canal is very close. The suburbs are also nice like bishopbriggs, torrance, rutherglen and east kilbride. The airport is very good service.

(Report Problem)Glasgow is a charming town. The cultural scene is lovely and it is a primary link to Stirling, Oban and the gorgeous Scottish Highlands. Glasgow is rich in culture, famous for Rennie MacIntosh's work. You'll find it throughout the shopping district and can immerse yourself in it at the "house for an art lover". Glasgow is a newer European town, which grew primarily in the 19th century during the industrial revolution, yet it has a glorious Cathedral over 500 years old. Sauchiehall, Buchanan St. and Argyle street provide the center of the shopping district which I found superior to Edinburgh's. The museum of modern art is worth a visit as is The Royal Concert Hall at the top of Buchanan, an excellent musical arts center. The city also boasts some outstanding restaurants. The university, art museum our Dumbarton Rd and Byers road in the west end are lovely areas, too. I found Glaswegians to be more friendly than those in Edinburgh and generally a pleasant people. This city is worth the visit, and it is a superb stopping point on the way to the west highland rail line, a truly glorious journey.

(Report Problem)A great city with lots of shops, great atmosphere, good public transport and a mix of old and modern. A great location to get a train along the west coast to places like Ayr, Oban, Fort William and its handy to go to other places in Scotland.

(Report Problem)Friendly people, great shopping and life about the place. Kelvingrove was terrific and there were so many other attractions from Clydeside to Burrell, Science Museum to the Tenement House. Also a wonderful centre fro which to visit Loch Lomand and the Firth of Clyde and islands.

(Report Problem)Arrived in Glasgow for the New Year’s celebration but was disappointed when they announced the cancellation, BUT when seeking another venue/attraction someone suggested salsa. "Salsa!" I hear you exclaim, yes, Salsa in the heart of Glasgow. I've never danced in my life but I thought "what have i got to lose". So we were directed towards the Ashanti Dance Company which is situated in the West End of Glasgow who were hosting a New Year gathering for all practioners of Cuban Salsa. We were welcomed in as soon as we reached the door and our host Tracy Taggart was excellent. We danced to our amazement and loved every minute of it! The atmosphere, the enthusiasm, the hostess (WOW) made this the most memorable New Year celebration ever.
