I studied in Stockholm University for a year and the place is simply awesome! The people are friendly, history and culture is rich, efficient in public service and one can get to places by just using the English language. A must-see-place for everyone! Heck, i plan to live there in the near future! I'll be back for sure!
Great for: Hiking/Camping, History/Culture, Theatre/Music, Nightlife, Family Holidays

(Report Problem)Stockholm is a beautiful, cultural city where the streets are clean and the inhabitants very welcoming. I have never had a bad experience in Stockholm and I am moving to live there in 7 days. It also has excellent cafes and a broad range of restaurants. A must-see city!!

(Report Problem)What a city, nice warm freindly place, very colourful, but yet i live in grey concreate birmingham so not hard to be colourful, the only thing i should say about this city is go in summer or in winter, we went in autumn altought you can still walk around, some boat trips arent on, your too early for ice lakes and it covered in snow, and too late for all the museem's but all in all great city cant wait to go back in a better season.

(Report Problem)This is such an underrated city. Paris gets so much praise for its beauty, but Stockholm really seems more elegant. It is probalby one of the best place in Europe for a family trip, as kids would enjoy boat rides, the Open Air museum, the Viking ship museum. The city has an amazing history. Went to a wonderful restaurant in the old part of the city, which served reindeer, and rosehip soup desert. Missed out on the balloon ride. Regretted that we only allocated 3 days for this city; it greatly exceeded our expectations.

(Report Problem)Stockholm is a great place to visit all year around. Dont miss walking in the Gamla Stan with charming cafes and little shops. For families I would recommend Skansen as number one place to visit. This place is a little of everything. Milles Garden for art lovers is a must. The subway system gives the opportunity to reach all destinations. Stockholm from water is unforgetable. Take a boat trip around the city. If you have more than a week, try nearby cities Sigtuna (the oldest Swedish city), Upsalla (can be reached by train).

(Report Problem)Surrounded by history, quaint buildings, cobblestone streets. Stockholm provides old world charm with modern conviences abounding at every turn. While your there you must go check out the Carriage Museum....what a way to step back in time.

(Report Problem)People are friendly. Beautiful buildings and suburban area like Legtuna nice to visit esp the glass factory. Delicious food and fantastic entertainment outlets. The Vasa Ship at the meseum was a great experience for me. Nothing that I dislike about Stockholm. Would like to come back and see more of Stockholm.
