Madrid is the most elegant city in Europe. I have been to many of Europe's capitals including Rome, Paris, and London. However, those cities do not exemplify elegance as Madrid does. Madrilenos dress up for every occassion. Life is lived on the streets. Every sidewalk is crowded with urbanites speaking with the "zeta." Culturally the city bosts phenomenal art museums well stocked with famous Spanish paintings. The opera/theater scene is also worth a visit.

I bet at night its got a photoghers dream light I just love that fuzzy water of spectacular colors adorning t6he night. and cafe shoppes that look so adoring It a favorite place to photogrape images.

MADRID IS ABSOLUTLY THE BEST PLACE IN THE WORLD TO VISIT. I HAVE MADE LOTS OF FRIENDS IN MADRID AND THE MADRILEŅOS SURE KNOW HOW TO MAKE YOU LIKE YOU'RE PART OF THEIR LIFE. I LOVE MADRID, IT'S LIKE MY SECOND HOME AWAY FROM HOME!!!!!

Madrid is a wonderful city for art lovers. It is very big, but the metro system is excellent and very easy to maneuver. There is also lots of great eating.

You canīt possibly go wrong if you choose spending a few days in Madrid. Unlike most european cities, which look all alike, Madrid has the unique charm and flavour of a great country!

Barcelona's more raucous, party-hard, step-sister is a good contrast to Barcelona's laid-back, stylish, personality. Stayed in Puerta del Sol, which reminds me of the old Times Square, pre-Disney. Hawkers, gawkers, teens, tourists, and (on some streets) hookers populate this hub of Spanish life! Centrally located to everything in Madrid, all sights were accessible via metro (stations Sol and Gran Via being the closes to Puerta del Sol). If you like to GO GO GO (especially until the early hours), Madrid is the place for you.
