A real gem!

Called in for lunch with a party of 6 others on a hen weekend. Food was excellent, service was quick and friendly. A difficult place to find unless you know york well. the cheesecake was to die for! Will deffinately take the family there next time we visit york.

Eat there its good

Oscar's is a great place to go for couples who want a lunch or to grab something after work. Also great for larger parties but must pre book. On arrival find a table if you can then order at the bar. Expect to wait as extremeley busy. The food is tasty and massive portions especiallty the mountain burger. Order it if you dare but not much chance of eating the whole dish. Great place for drinks in the courtyard. Menu is quite basic but the dishes are done very well. People who go will always go back again as is just the medium people like not to posh and not to casual. Reasonably priced and good drinks menu.

brilliant atmosphere - fantastic food

Excellent food served in a very nice location. Been there for a romantic dinner and also with colleagues from work for an end of year bash.

Great for: Romantic Dining, Groups, After Hour Eats, Outdoor Seating, Dessert Menu, Steak

sharing condiments

after we used the condiments,they were put on another table without even the spoons being replaced. the rest of the condiments were left on a table by the staircase without any covering. it might be more hygienic to use satchets

its fantastic

Oscars is a frindly and charming place to go. The staff were so frindly and polite! Definatly worth a visit!
