Breathtaking City!!
Stayed in Venice last August for 4 days at the bellini Hotel. Great hotel and location. Highly recommended. Took a Vapporetto (public transportaion) to all the site around Venice and to Murano Island. Saw Rialto Bridge, St Marks Square & cathedral and took a gonodla ride on the canal. Went off site a bit to Verona to see the 2nd biggest collesium in Italy (next to Rome's). Shopped and ate a lot while I was enjoying this wonderful city. Very romantic, so go with someone you love. The Rialto at night has LOVE written all over it ;) And try gellato while you are there too. A+ for everything...friendly Italians I came in conatct with are very helpful to Americans in Europe nowadays. But be careful at night and dring the day too (pick pocketing) of Gypsys. They are illegal foreigners that rob and steal in Venice. So be ont he look out. They beg and sell cheap trinkets on the sidewalk corners. Other then that A++++++++++

Italy was an awsome place to live. If you made an effort to learn their language,curlure and lifestyle, the people were the upmost friendly, and in turn, they made an effort to make your stay their confortable. The pasta's were molto bueno (very good). And their was always something to do.

Venice is a must see for all who visits Europe. There are no words to fully describe the atmosphere and ambiance of Venice. The archicture is amazing. There are no bad views of Venice. Best times to vist is in the fall - September to October. Less crowds and you can find some good deals on hotel during this time.

I like Venice so much coz Venice is a beautiful country and the people were so friendly.I also like sant'elene hotel coz the service is very good. I would like to buy key chain and the mask as souveniers. But why gondola are so expensive? It cost about 80 euro per 40 minutes.

I think everyone could cut back on som smoking. And the crime was terrible. My purse was stolen so many times I finally just carried it without money in it. But it was a very nice trip and was a wonderful cultural impact.
