Best experience

Its the best place in the world. Been there every year for 5 years. It smells of the sea/salt water.July and August too hot. Get the boat to Lido for a break. DONOT buy anything around st marks square, go the the Realto bridge areafor same at 3rd price. will be there again this year If you can afford it get the private boat across, very stylish and makes the holiday a good start DONT TAKE A HOTEL TRIP TO MAURNO GLASS take the private boat and you wont get the hard sell

NICE PLACE TO VISIT, JUST BE CAREFUL WITH THE THIEVES ON THE STREET... GET IN TO YOUR HOTEL BEFORE SUNSET.

venice, let it sink

venice is a slowly sinking city. Thank goodness. The water stinks with dead cats, rats and other vermon. what a hell hole!!!

Worth the trip

Loved it. Was a change from most of the other ities in Europe I went to because there was more capitalism and selling. The people were very friendly and Murano was incredible. Even if you are on a budget, you can soak in all the beauty theat is Venice.

Beautiful

a very beautiful city, espcially at night when the lights reflect on the water. It's very unique because transporation is all on water. The atmosphere is very romantic and beautiful.
