Overall
Recent 3 day visit to Rome has opened our eyes . We were advised to use the Metro to visit the Vatican , so we boarded a crowded train and my wife had a back pack reversed, so it was in front and she could clutch it. The bottom of the bag was sliced open and she lost cards, money etc, but the trauma this caused ruined the whole day. We went to the police station to fill out the report and was very shortly joined by an elderly threesome frome Ireland who had lost money and passport IN THE QUEUE for the VATICAN. Then another couple arrived who had lost a purse with money and cards. All this while we filled out the form in triplocate. How many more were victims that, and every day.
