THIS IS 100% ACCURATE!!... people go on about how dirty the city is this is not the case its very clean its true its expensive but its like every city dirty only on the outskirts. we had a great time we stayed in bergamo which was a great place. italians arn't the nicest people and the autostrada was a pain but got used to it food was great if you can find the places to eat but overall it was great would go back again.

(Report Problem)its true the graffitti is the worst ive ever seen.but then i havent been to the bronx. appart from that the centre has some amazing buildings well worth the visit alone e.g the castle, the arch, the duomo(go up to the roof)the centre is lovely with its trams and old buildings. the last supper is a must, the most memorable for me but book in advance or you wont get in. nightlife is pretty poor in the centre (brerra district) very expensive £7 a pint. much better is the naviglio district only 2 stops on metro which has lots of bars and restaurants, cafes lining 2 canals the furthest being the best, great value for money and most put an array of free food on the bar between 5 and 8(happy hour). overall good weekend. avoid da vinci museum as is pretty much the same as any other and nothing to do with da vinci.

(Report Problem)Graffiti -- so destructive, so intrusive. Even if Milano was possibly a nice play, the decay of the buildings being vandalised day in and out ensures that it's place as one of the ugliest cities of the old world. And if you love to see criminals on the streets and a train station that charges you 70 cents just to take a pee, well baby, you can HAVE IT!

(Report Problem)Was surprised by the graffitti on the walls and buildings but apart from that, was a lovely city with lots of greenery, good food and lots of shopping. The fact that shops don't open on sundays was quite disappointing though, however, good planning and a keen sense of direction would make your holiday much more pleasant.

(Report Problem)Milan is good for shopaholic. It's a real theraphy. We also lucky to meet nice Italian people at restaurant & street. Dislikes: sites not so interesting & busy & cars unfriendly.

(Report Problem)Milan is a great city but doesnt have too much to offer most tourists. It can be seen in a day or two. The city centre is lovely and quite well kept. An unmissable sight is the amazing Duomo and it is well worth the climb to the roof to see the amazing architecture and the views. Beside the Duomo is the lovely Galleria and just a short walk away is the impressive Castello with the park and Napoleon's arch behind that. The main train station is also quite beautiful and extremely impressive! Also well worth a look (though you should book in advance) is Da Vinci's Last Supper. The great lakes are a short train trip away from Milan and are amazing. You should definitely spare some time to go and see at least one lake if you are in Milan. Dont go with high expectations of a clean, modern and fashionable city because you'll be let down. If you take the city as it is you will enjoy it
