I had a great time, but unfortunately didn't spend enough time in Dublin to see it all. I really enjoyed what I did get to experience, especially the pubs and the great food! I found the Irish to be a whole lot of fun, and can't wait to go back!

(Report Problem)just adding to the previous comment that taxis should be no more than 8 euro is very inaccurate. avoid them at rush hour or you could end up paying 20euro without exaggeration but expect to pay 12 - 15

(Report Problem)Coming from the United States (California) I try to visit Ireland every few years for relaxation. I love the Irish people, they are very warm and friendly. Dublin is a great city to see - also be sure to visit the rest of the country. Also, I love the fact that Ireland is now a non-smoking country! I'm still hoping I'll get to see a U2 concert in their homeland.

(Report Problem)Dublin was auesome, the local people are so friendly and so talkative. You can literally sit down with a pint of Guiness and talk for hours with them. Can't beat Temple Bar great atmosphere, better pub food then England any day. If ur irish and u remember Dublin even 10 yrs. ago its totally differernt its one of the best cities in Europe now. And there is just something about those Black Irish girls (not literally black) they give swedish girls a run for their money. Can't wait to go back, hope u find some of my rambling useful.

(Report Problem)Dublin is the greatest place in the world...even though I am from there, but I'm in California.Dublin is filled with secrets that are leaving people unaware of the history that Ireland has.The Celtic castles that once stood in the Middle Ages, are a site to see on the coastline.

(Report Problem)I'm not a big city girl, yet this was a nice town to walk around. Prices are good; lots of restaurants to choose from as long as you eat supper by 8:00--kitchens seem to close early. If you're not into touristy pubs, avoid Temple Bar. Otherwise, it's a good way to see the Dublin nightlife. Globetrotters Hostel is awesome!!
