I went to Berlin in February flying Ryanair from London I flew into Schonefield airport and took the S9 into the city. I spent the morning looking at the Jewish museum and Checkpoint Charlie, which has alot of Soviet merchandise around. They also had part of the Berlin wall there as well. I then spent the afternoon in central Berlin, this is where all the major museums are and the main cathedral. They also had quite a few statues such as of Fredrick the Great in the middle of the round. Brandeberg Gate is massive and the Reichstag is pretty close by. The Reichstag has a nice glass dome. I spent the night at AO Hostel Zoo which is next to the Zoological Garden station, you could hear a train go past every 10 minutes and the walls are paper thin so I heard some hammering going on in the hallway. The next day I went to see the Royal Palace in Charlottesburg, the garden is huge and took me over an hour to walk, however there weren't any leaves on the trees. After that I saw the various minor attractions around such as the telecommunications tower, I didn't go to the observation level since it was pretty cloudly that day.
