Ahhhh Paris!!!!A dream come true!!!I visited Paris in 1997 as part of a Trafalgar Tour Package where we stayed for 2 days. Everything about Paris lived up to it's reputation as the most romantic city. My day started with a guided tour of Notre Dame Cathedral. A quick brunch at McDonald's followed. Then, it was off to the Louvre. Afternoon sightseeing included a Seine cruise, climbing the Eiffel Tower where I saw a great bird's eye view of the whole city, and a bus ride down Champs Elysees.Dusk brought me to the artist village of Montmarte. That evening, we went to a cabaret dinner. My day in Paris commenced with a night tour of the city which even looks more amazing than during the day. The Arc de Triomphe, the beutiful fountains plus the Plaza de la Concorde all lit up against the backdrop of a full moon. Hard to believe that behind the glitz and beauty of the city, it too has it's own dark secrets. Paris is indeed for everyone-it's a haven for artists, interior designers, architects and since I am a chef, a culinary fantasy come true. It's been 8 years since I saw this beutiful city and I can't wait to see Paris again.
