Without a doubt, Paris is the most beautiful city in the entire world, and meticulously planned to be that way. Along with New York and Venice, Paris is one of three cities that everyone should visit before they make that final journey. You can walk its many neighborhoods as much as you like and you never tire of it. Museums, monuments, churches and bridges notwithstanding, the wide boulevards and tiny side streets lined with trees and architecture old and new are enough to keep you enchanted during your entire stay. Lodging is the only drawback in Paris, with the luxury hotels way too pricey for the average traveler, and the "affordable" hotels undistinguished and sometimes no more interesting than a Motel 6. The solution is simply getting up early in the morning and staying out all day and evening, and Paris allows you to do just that year around.
