The people are the same as anyplace you go .Try and speak or even just greet the people you meet in there tounge and the will be most corteous .They will go out of ther way to assist you.I have been many times starting from a long weekend to a 3 week stay.Best area to book is central and on some small side street with small local cafe's as that is where the locals will dine and meet.No mater where you hail from there are watering holes where you can meet people from your country if you wish but go out and meet the locals that is the holiday. Paris is a mesmirising city the sights to see many free you do not need te enter them to enjoy .But do climg the Sacre ceur do go up the E.tower do go on the River but take the Boata Bus Cheaper and more convenient . Most of all if on a ROMANTIC BREAK dine on a River Cruse
