Paris, a city you have to go to

five stars

Paris is probably the best and most charming city in the whole world. I´ve been there twice and I really love it. It has a unique atmosphere, delightful streets, parks and buildings and lots of incredible touiristic attractions.

Paris Charm!

one star

Romantic? If you like stepping in dog waste and urine ridden streets, then this place should be considered the most romantic place on Earth. Oh, I forgot to mention the lovely attitude of the Parisians. I believe before they leave their apartments in the morning, they insert a large stick up their ass because they sure walk around with their heads up high. And the food, what food? All I saw was crepe stands (or is it crap). You better be on the lookout the entire time because the streets are full of beggers and pick-pockets. Anyway, the only nice thing about Paris was me leaving this hell hole.

Paris La Belle

five stars

Paris La Belle... How I long to return to you.... What is there to say about Paris? It is by far the most beautiful city in the world. My favorite district was Le quatier de l'Opera and should be considered when you book a hotel. You are right by the famous Lafayette and of course in the realm of music. You are in the shadow of Palais Garnier which is a sight that no one should miss! Do not forget to take a walk from Les Champs Elysees and don't forget about shopping, everything is here! and I must say Louis Vuitton is much cheaper in Paris than in the states, and it is made in France, not in Spain! If you are on a honeymoon, take Le Bateau Parisien because it gives a flair to your vacation by giving you and your petit(e) ami(e) a wonderfull dinner and a tour of Paris by night with a boat.

can't wait to go back

five stars

i loved paris and i stayed in the red light district. next time i want to stay near the Latin quarter which was my favorite. the people were unbelievable. not rude at all but very friendly and helpful. they all want to practice their english on you. but if you are not use to doing a lot of walking as my elderly father discovered then use the taxis. it's not very handicap friendly but like i said use the taxis! the metro was very easy to understand and you could get anywhere. we went to disney paris because of my young niece, which i would not recommend. what was micheal eisner thinking? i am going back next year with two changes in mind. upgrade to the business class on the airline and stay in the latin quarter.

everyone should go at least twice

five stars

the postcards do not do it justice. in fact, nothing does until you see it for yourself. the french i have met were very sweet, the food- outstanding, the city itself - a neverending source of beauty and wonder. if you can afford to be lazy - indulge yourself in sleeping late and wandering the streets late, if not - don't worry about seeing everything at once. once you're there you realize the tourist sites are not that important. it is all breathtaking and worth a few visits. i'm going back this fall for a few months!

Do not smile

five stars

This was the single most memrable expereince of a life time. The food was stellar, the people were friendly the city was magnifique! Something I wish I had known before I went was smiling is not common or polite as it is in the USA. Making eye contact is a come on! So I suggest a good dark pair od sunglasses for people who love to people watch.
