Paris has the art
Over many years I've heard diatribes by travelers concerning the irracibility of the French..and particularly the Parisians. Having traveled sufficiently in France and repeat visits to Paris...I find these criticisms unwarranted. High tariffs at the Ritz are justified by their willingness to lay on unadvertised guest benefits without charging. Rome and Paris...best food on the planet.

Easy to get around on the Metro or on foot. Make sure to set aside at least an entire day for the Louvre. Prices are a little high, especially with the declining dollar, but overall, Paris is well worth it.

Paris is amazing! There is so much to do and everything is absolutely beautiful. It really is a fantastic city. The people are actually pretty tolerant of tourists (tolerant=ignore you), but I'd rather be ignored than have someone be rude (like in Belgium!) When you go, expect your waiter not to speak English, expect to not ask for directions, but expect to have a fantastic time!

Beautiful and romantic. Even on a short weekend we thoroughly enjoyed the sights. $7 for a glass of soda was a bit pricey, though.

I loved it. I had as much fun relaxing and soaking it all in, as I did "going" and "doing." One of two large cities that I would chose to live in; the other being Sydney.

It was a love at first sight!This city is just amazing,unbelievable!!I instantly felt like I had been living there for ages.The atmosphere is unique!Parisians are really warm and Paris at night leaves you speachless...!You can wander around all day and all night and never want to leave!A part of me is still in Paris!I cannot wait for my next trip there and the next one...

I like all the historic and old monuments well maintained for the tourists to view But the only one think that i don't like is the robbery and cheating to the tourists by the illegal immigrants (I think).One among many I experiance during my short stay eg: I saw a black teenager grabing a mobile phone from a lady who was speaking in her mobile it makes little unsafety and etc

I have lived 10 years in Paris and to me it is the most beautiful city on earth. New York may be more powerful, Madrid more regal, Tokyo more modern or Rio more fun but there is something of timeless beauty about Paris that I have never found anywhere else.
