When we left the airport on the bus to the city centre i was not impressed at all all the apartment blocks looked drab and there was a lot of graffiti around. Next day however when we saw the castle in the sunlight it was quite magical. The old square was lovely and it was really cheap to get around with a travel pass. We saw golden lane, that was really nice and we went on a couple of guided walks. I really enjoyed the experience and am going back again in October.

(Report Problem)Beer - 10/10 Friendly natives - 10/10 Beautiful buildings - 10/10 Time spend looking for the bits where they shot Mission Impossible - far too long The only thing that wasn't brilliant was the time spend checking change from a couple of places that thought we couldn't count in Foreign.

(Report Problem)There is something for everyone in Prague, and relatively speaking things are still cheap even after conversion to the Euro!

(Report Problem)Prague is a wonderful city and is worth visiting at least once in your life. There are many many things to do in Prague that you can not write them all without forgetting some but I truly recommend visiting the dancing building, one of the most bizarre things I have seen ever.

(Report Problem)Prague is one of those cities that is so easy to fall in love with. Like so many others I came for a short period and stayed a much longer. The physical city is beyond words, so beautiful even on gray days. The people are extremely friendly once you venture beyond the main streets. I loved getting "lost" in the many windering streets in Old Town, I felt like I found a new place everyday. Its also a really easy city to navigate with the great public transportation system. Now is great time to go as Prague is still relatively cheap compared to most of Europe.

(Report Problem)Lived and worked in Prague from May through June of 2004 during an internship that I had straight out of undergraduate. Opened my eyes and changed my life. The cultural and historical experience gained from walking the streets of the Prague is unrivaled. Travel now before is loses its flavor totally because the creeping globalization definitely is taking its toll.

(Report Problem)Prague really was above our expectations. Plan to stay at least 3-4 days to see the most, and there is a lot to see! Expect to walk a lot, bring most comfortable shoes. Food is good everywhere, look at the menu outside restaurants; there are plenty to choose from. Hotels are expensive in Prague, but you can stay in a pension or rent small apartment in a city center for less.
