bad service

visited twice. First was good, second was bad Had several service problems: I booked a double room as a singel and they placed me in a small single room. Booked a menu option and had quite some problems with it with my bill. Menu option is bad anyway: you get the same dish every time: chicken wok.

Antwerp: a must!

Quality & charm. Historic city filled with architertural pearls, that has a very clear city centre where top food, top bars and top shopping is abundant. The river running through the city providing adds to it's beauty and elegance.

Antwerp is a must see!

I just returned from a week long stay in Belgium and I absolutely loved it. We went to Antwerp for the day which is a very convenient train ride from Brussels. The city is so beautiful with great restaurants and shopping. We had dinner at Da Giovanni's which had excellent pizza and a great atmosphere. I would highly recommend this city!

The Diamont of Belgium

City in the center of Belgium lots of festivals, in the summer, nice cosy superb restaurants and brown cafees to enjoy during romantic winter evenings and summer evening. Cultural city of Europe in 1993. In the city center you can shop till you drop on the Meir, one of Antwerps most famous streets. Antwerp also has an great nightlife, having a lot of cafees, discotheeks as well lounge, dance as extravagant onces (Cafe Danvers, Cafe Local, Stads Park, .. ) One of the places you should absolutely visit is the Pelgrom (Pelgrimstraat) in the center of Antwerp. This is a catacomb, very romatic and special. Also Patersvatje should be visited, a brown cafe serving over a 100 Belgium beers. Paters Vatje is located in front of Antwerps Cathedral. One of the places that also must be visited by people going to Antwerp is the South. This is not the city center but is like a secondary city center, lots of things to do here as well, cafees, restaurants, nice atmosphere, ... a must do For people fancying culture, there are loads of Museums showing old and new Art. Antwerp has a very rich culture of painters (Rubens, Appel, ... )
