Not again...

We have been here, and boy, what a disappointment it was. All old buildings are on the edge of falling apart and the fact that the Cubans cannot speak openly about the current situation does not help either. Never again for us.

we definately will go back!

we visited in January '07 and what a friendly,beautiful place to be. Couldn't fault the people,hotel,location or food. Trip to Havana was an eye opener and we also swam with the dolphins. Going in January was the best time to go as the winter hasn't seemed as long. If you get the chance, GO!

Great for: Beaches, Scuba/Snorkeling, History/Culture, Family Holidays

miss it , miss out!

Havana, is one of those rare places that hasn't thrown the baby out with the bathwater..............ok there are big rings around the bath and it could do with re-enamelling but it's the real unadulterated business - no ersatz copies of anything. The people are great -helpful, genuine and friendly but never smarmy. Theres a wonderful regard for children and young people and the kids we saw there were having a wonderful time. Real carnival atmosphere

I would love to live in Havana!

The think i loved the most was the feeling i was in a place where the time does not exist! Also, i loved the people who were really friendly and so lively In my opinion it is the most beutiful place on the world combining fun and entertainment with the history of this country!
