Excelsior Tailor and other scams

Anyone looking for a tailor needs to be very wary about the review that you see posted on the internet for tailors. Excelsior Tailor is one of the worst for this and is always posting reviews for its own services. Their suits are OK, but not great and the nonsense that I have seen posted on some forums about them is incredible. Unfortunately I did not realise this and I did use them. My recommendation is to ask the conceirge at the 5* hotels such as Peninsula or Oriental and follow their advice. The suits are much more expensive, but the quality will hopefully be better. Anyone that says they can make a suit with less than 3 fittings is also on glue!!

i bought a suit from manhattan suits 3 years ago cashmere and silk approx 130 poundd its still goin strong now i love it and would recommend it to anyone who visits

The Perfect Suit? Visit Mr. Boss Tailors !

Last time I visited Bangkok, I was staying in Kahaosarn Road. After visiting endless tailor shops there all promising fake deals and crappy suits, I entered Mr. Boss Tailors ( don't be fooled by other Boss Tailors ). There is only one MR. Boss Tailors. I was amazed at their incredible variety of fabrics and expertise. They spoke excellent English, Japanese, German, Swedish and French too. They were the first shop that did not promise any false bogus packages! After chatting with the friendly staff for a while, I was so impressed that I decided to purchase a couple of suits in Cashmere Wool. To my amazement, my suits turned out PERFECT! The cut and fit was amazing and the price was pretty reasonable too! They do mail ordering too and since they have my measurements and paper cuttings, I will be ordering many many more suits soon. I definitely would reccommend everyone to go to Mr. Boss Tailors. Best Suits, Best Craftsmenship, Best Service!

Quality tailor bangkok

I have just returned from Bangkok this week after staying at Somerset lake point soi16. Visited Tailor pro fashion for some shirts made. Excellent service and makes great shirts. They treated me with excellent care and the clothes turned out amazing. My clothes have fit excellently till now with ease. Cheers

CJ Collection Fashion style

I read about the guy who has never received his marchandise (suit, shirt,etc.). This story is not true for me. The guy's of CJ are very nice and helpful. They went at our hotel for fitting the coat and delivered the shirt I have ordered. And they will deliver the coat during the evening today, after some ajustements. The designer read the story of the man and he was amazing about that. They never lost a customer and they have customer's everywhere in the world. So I recommand CJ Collection for everybody and don't trust everybody on the Internet. In french: peut-etre que le gars qui a ecrit est un competiteur of CJ. Je comprend qu'il ne faut pas fiare confiance a n'importe qui mais c'est la meme chose avec les commentaires sur Internet. Be careful!!! Guy Plamondon from Quebec, Canada

Excelsior tailor in Bangkok highly recommended

Hey I have been using Excelsior for years and would like to share it with you people reading. The quality of the suit is great and the price is reasonable. Fit has nothing to do with the quality of a suit, because every body is unique, and therefore the ideal fit has to be tailored for any man. Nothing off the rack will ever fit you perfectly, only “close-enough” in some circumstances. If its solely the quality you are interested in, then you want to look at 2 things - the quality of the fabrics used to make the suit, and the quality of the workmanship put into the suit. Most high quality suits are going to be made of high quality wool, with an equally high quality silk inner lining . If anybody is on a visit to Bangkok would recommend them to have a fit at Excelsior and its much better than buying off the rack suits.

Top 10 Tailors in Thailand

I enjoyed the extraordinary service of savilerow fashion .Quality + service impeccable next best thing to savilerow in uk. I also had good reviews from friends about savilerow. Well, seeing the lineup that they had in new york yesterday (there were tons of bankers waiting to be sized up for dress shirts and suits), I would recommend them as well.

Food in the land of smiles

The airport was good. The cab found my Alexander hotel in Bang Kapi half way to downtown. No tourists there. The hotel was fun for 3 days. Real nice people. Stayed in an apartment for 2 weeks. In a 3 minute walk you could find 10 restaurants and 20 street vendors. Most of the restaurant food will not just burn your mouth, it will hurt for 30 minutes. Then it is just be bloody hot for another 30 minutes. We would eat fried rice with vegetables or noodles with veggies at a restaurant for about a dollar. Then we would bring fruit home for after dinner. I ate everything I could find. Never got a little sick. The best buffet and show is the Sala Rim Nam. Very nice show and wonderful food. My Thai wife loved everything about it. Try all the food in Thailand. A lot of it you will not be able to eat. Too hot. Suck on a piece of ice if you get burned. Going back in February for another month of cheap food. Mmmmm cheap food.

Prince Henry Tailors in Sukhumvit Soi 22

I heard about this tailor from a british guy (i'm dutch by the way) and he recommended me with AAA++ for this tailor :) So when I got to Bangkok, I dropped in first thing and ordered my 2 suits and 5 shirts. The price was reasonable and the service was impeccable, I had a fitting 2 days later then I picked it up after another 3 days. I loved the fit and now I am back in Netherlands, I have never received so much compliments before with my suits. If you in Bangkok, you should drop in to Prince & Henry Tailors in Sukhumvit Soi 22. They are one of the finest tailors. One note, their shop looks a bit messy comparing to other shops close by, but I guess this just shows that they are busy tailors.
