Overall

Thailand is one of the best places on earth, Bangkok however- I would never go back. Why? Everyone is constantly trying to rip you off! And yes, I got ripped off by whom? A company called... CJ Collection Bumrungmuang Rd Bangkok Basically, a "friendly stranger" approached us, got us an unbeatable offer on a tuk tuk tour of Bangkok and told us of a one day sale for the Kings birthday at a place called CJ Collection! So like a couple of mugs we took the tour. On the way we stopped at the smallest filthy little temple where another "friendly stranger" told us the same story about the sale. So yes, we went I ordered a suit they said it would be ready the next day and it wasnt so they told me to deliver it to my hotel...blah blah blah. When I phoned later that week they said I had already received the suit and had signed for it. I am now in the middle of a dispute with mastercard, anyway this seems to be a VERY popular scam in Bangkok so please watch out for CJ COLLECTION! That sort of ruined what was otherwise the best holiday of my life!
