There's no city in the world like manila, rich in history, people are hospitable and courteous. Only the government is one of the most corrupt societies in the civilized world yet still very catholic.

The Philipines is a beautiful place to experience a wide variety of culture and its rich history. The food and shopping centers are great. There are many interesting tourist destinations to visit and nice hotels to stay in. The people are very accomodating, friendly and best of all, they speak good english.

Its Preety cool, I love it, Check out the Roxas Boulevard too, its fun, you can see the Manila bay oh its beautiful specially in the night, roxas boulevard has tourist and Recreation, World class mini Stalls, everyday Concerts, it may be Acapelo or Acoustic or rock, rap whatever music (oh and oldie) Well Philippines is a far more better than Doha, its so western you couldn't Believe, try it also!

If your in the mood for entertainment, shopping and great food? Manila is the place to visit. With the covenience of transportation outside your door and shopping on every corner, it's a must visit. Sure there are problems with pollution and traffic but most asian countries share that problem. There is something for everyone in manila.

Manila is one of the best places to shop, dine, and have fun. It has huge malls!! I love shopping clothes in the Philippines because of quality and price. It also offers superb restos that will satisfy your craving for anything from Chinese to Italian but of course where else can you find the best Filipino food but from the Philippines, authentic huh! it should be!hehehe! I love Laguna, just south of Manila, more though because air is fresher and there is less traffic. I love going to hotsprings in Calamba and Los Banos. Filipinos are basically hospitable and friendly!

I was born and raise in the Philippines, but I've been in the U.S for 25 years, I'm so happy to go back to our country, visit all my relatives and friends, but I'm so dissapointed that our country has been neglected overall, the shanty places all over, the garbage all over, the traffic and the economy, Our country is great and beautiful, hopefully we can make our country beautiful again in the eyes of God and our people.

I came from the philippines and now im living here in US came here last 2002 all i want is some changes most especially the traffics, the pollution and also the big problem is garbage that were scattered everywhere and most especially in the squatters area.But i miss my home country and planning to visit there maybe next year. I want to stay long but i cannot coz of my work here in US.
