(Report Problem)Tokyo is a mixture of Japan to the max with a dash of western influince. It is certianly worth visiting but the best things in Japan are proably not located inside the city. The nightlife is outstanding as there is sevaral places to go to get a brew.

(Report Problem)An incredible city; there's no where else in the world like it. The people are wonderful and kind, the city is clean (interestingly you dont see many trash cans around), and there are TONS of sites to see.

(Report Problem)very expensive but nice place if you avoid taking the subway at rush hour times... otherwise you'll have to push to be sure to get in the subway.... Also avoid summer, it's too warm and you sweat 10 liters a day :-)

(Report Problem)I stayed in Japan for two days at the Hotel Nikko in Narita while enroute to Bangkok, Thailand. I took the Narita Express to downtown Tokyo. I went to the Imperial Palace grounds and the Tokyo Tower during the day then went to The Ginza and Tokyo's Rippongi Section at night. Tokyo is GREAT! The Imperial Palace grounds are impeccable. The view from the Tokyo Tower top observation deck is astonishing!(Luckily it was a clear December day) The Ginza is electricfying! And the Rippongi Section is TOO cool! I'll be back!

(Report Problem)I loved Tokyo because there was just so much to do. We sang karaoke in our own booth, went shopping for days in different parts of tokyo, got around easily by the fast and precisely timed trains, ate the amazing food and were treated very nicely by the natives.
