About India: I thought that my experience in a third world country such as China would prepare me for anything India could throw me. I was very wrong! The place is filthy -- New Delhi looks like old Delhi and I'm surprised old Delhi still exists! Plus, beggars and conmen hassle you EVERY corner. Literally. It quickly becomes intolerably frustrating. If you truly feel like you want to see the Taj Mahal and the rest of India, I'd suggest you definitely go with a tour group. You will definitely have a better time. Going individually I felt very vulnerable and uneasy. But I have to say, the Taj Mahal is a beautiful structure. Anyway, all in all I'd say it was still a good experience, but I think one time is enough for me!
