(Report Problem)About India: I thought that my experience in a third world country such as China would prepare me for anything India could throw me. I was very wrong! The place is filthy -- New Delhi looks like old Delhi and I'm surprised old Delhi still exists! Plus, beggars and conmen hassle you EVERY corner. Literally. It quickly becomes intolerably frustrating. If you truly feel like you want to see the Taj Mahal and the rest of India, I'd suggest you definitely go with a tour group. You will definitely have a better time. Going individually I felt very vulnerable and uneasy. But I have to say, the Taj Mahal is a beautiful structure. Anyway, all in all I'd say it was still a good experience, but I think one time is enough for me!

(Report Problem)Great, but like in Mexico, watch your step around the police and watch for scammers.

(Report Problem)The only place on earth worse than dehli is mumbai. I have been to this country 2 times on buisness and have come back a weaker man becaause of my trips there. The country has a place in every humanitarian nightmare. Upon arriving all the people ppush you out of the way with absolutely no courtesy. once you leave the airport you are hit by the awful smell and smog that permeates all of india. You will see the small herds of cows everywhere and will smell the fouled waterways from iles away. Once arriving at a typical hotel expect it to be only partially clean and to have a boy immideately grab your bag and then beg for a tip. It is really not even an optoin here to carry your own bag. Your room will have a deluxe accomadation of a 3 inch matress on a plywood platform. As instructed by numerous clients here do not eat anything that resembles meat. If you weren't a vegitarian before you go there you will be one while you are there. Even chicken and lamb are considered to be of poor quality. i managed to stay well by only dinking things I saw directly coming out of bottles on this trip it wasn't the same on my last journey here. i din't feel safe here at any time i believe crime is low but being a westerner i was mobbed constantly b beggars and was just saddened to leave the hotel as poor as the accomidations were
