Looking forward for our return
I wish I were there now. Hongkong is very exciting and easy to get transportation cheap. I feel safe 24 hours a day. Also visit Kowloon Island, New Territories and Makau.

A wonderful city full of great shopping and eating -don't miss the Temple Street Market, Ladies Market and Stanley Market (touristy, but fun). Take the 6 express bus to Stanley and sit on the top deck, in front, for the ride of your life! The Star Ferry is a hoot - and getting around is so easy. Just bring another suitcase to fill - the bargains abound. They are very kind to Americans, and the city is, as cities go, fairly safe.

hong kong is an exciting city that you will like it. forget new york, london... this non-stop city has all you need, from shopping... to nightlife. i will further visit hong kong very soon. i love this city.

(Report Problem)My First HONGKONG TRIP
Last Chinese New Year, we went to Hongkong with a friend of mine. This was my first time to visit Hongkong but even i am new in this place, i have some ideas what is Hongkong all about. At first, i was watching different places in the Television, seeing pictures of Hongkong in the travel magazine but i am able to witness whats inside of Hongkong. Honestly, I cant wait to go back in Hongkong because the place was great, i enjoyed my stay, the views and places was wonderful and beautiful especially when we are in THE PEAK, i was amazed about the structures of Hongkong island from Kowloon-Harbour-Hongkong Island, the skyline was great and unique especially at night. I really love the climate there because in that time it was winter, i was very comfortable walking in the streets of Hongkong like Streets of Tsuen Wan, Kowloon, Central, Admiralty, Causeway Bay, Wan Chai and Tsim Shat Sui. I really enjoyed riding in the MTR because the train was fast, comfortable inside and of course all of the station was beatiful, organized, and safe. Also, i really enjoyed my stay in the Big Buddha in the heart of the LAntau Island, the structure of the Buddha was great, also, i was amazed when i see the Po lin Monastery near the Big Buddha. Generally, most of the places in Hongkong are beautiful and easy to access, the streets are clean, and based from the experience you will not able to get lost even you it was your first time to be there because the Information signage was easy to know. Although, i was not able to visit all of the tourist spots in HOnkong because of my short stay there but I am sure that in my next visit in Hongkong, i will go to these places. I am proud to say that HONGKONG is one of the very best places in the WORLD to visit!!!!

Hongkong is one place that never sleeps. I travel there at least twice a year on business and after work i go for a bath in the hotel an then go shopping and after that i go for a foot massage to relax my poor feet and then go back to the hotel to sleep and beleive me after a massage you really sleep like a baby and are fresh the next day for a full day in the meeting room. Try it and you will love it.

Forget New York, London , Paris, because Hong Kong is without doubt the most exciting and memory making city on earth. It has great shopping, eateries, and there is a wealth of sight seeing, but do not do the 2 day stopovers, see the place for real. I never tire of returning, and unlike some destinations, it seems better and fresh each visit.
