Overall

Cape Town is one of the world's most beautiful cities and should be at the top of any true traveler's wish list. There is literally so much to do -- even if you're only passing through, be sure to schedule at least 4-5 days to get a true sampling of everything the city has to offer. Summer months (Dec - Mar) are best, where you're likely not to see a cloud in the sky. Be sure to check out the beaches along the Atlantic coast -- they're quite scenic and spectacular. Other highlights include Robben Island, the Waterfront, tea at the Mount Nelson, District Six and the local townships, cricket and rugby at Newlands, and the beautiful University of Cape Town.
