Dissapointment

I had read the reviews (now i think that they were written by the same chilean guy who must love his homeland so much that can be objective) and though I was gonna like the city which didn`t happen. The city is a third world copy of a mid-sized american city. Best head to Buenos Aires and Rio. Santiago was a big turn-off.

Can't wait to go back

Beautiful weather. Friendly, welcoming residents. Great bargains food, clothing, etc. Easy to navigate. Wonderful restaurants. Safe walking during day and night. The cleanest subway I have ever seen.

Best City in Latin America!

I love this city! If I were to recommend a place to anyone this would be the place to go. Make sure that you try the seafood... the best I have had in my life.

Sea and Ski

The central fish market is an absolute must, for dining and buying. Valpariso, an old port city is worth the visit, and the art sold on the streets there is a valuable souvenir. The skiing at Portillo was only surpassed by its food.

To go is a must!

I stayed in Stgo for a week. I went to different restaurants, bars, pubs and shopping malls. Loved it!!.....but my favorite places were Vina del Mar and Valparaiso. Vina reminded me a little bit of Miami Florida, surrounded with palm trees, beautiful gardens all around. The people are very polite. Valparaiso, I've never seen so many hills in my life!. I liked the way some of the houses are painted, with colorful blues, yellows & reds. There were painted very similar to the little houses in Murano, Italy. I am planing to go back very soon to see the rest of the country, or at least a little bit more that what I saw. Go, you won't regret it.

A drive from Santiago to Tanzania is beautiful through the wine areas.

chile lindo

well santiago is a cyty really nice and really quite, with people really nice and architecture expectacular well i hope than all people than go to chile in next time have a good stay in there is a nice place thank you chilean people for give me a good time thank you

The cradle of the latins-Chile

This place is awesome and wonderfully peace.The temperature is just right just like those in Europe but i will feel bored travelling to the European countries many times.The Alps summit is especially the best place for Snatiago's scenic view.
