Overall

Auckland is a good starting point to discover one of the friendlyist countries in the world. Within few hours you can drive to the bay of Islands, Cape Reinga, the gorgeous Coromandel Peninsula, and skying/skydiving, snorkeling, snowboarding at Lake Taupo or the Mountains of North island. if you think that is worthwhile, south island will knock you off your feet
