I love Sydney very much
I like Sydney very much because of the presence of many beautiful beaches as I am a beach lover. I also have a friend and cousins fron Sdyney. The education is very incredible. Only the thing that makes me afraid is the weather. The other things I like very, very much and would like to visit very much.

i went to sydney as a prize for winning a contest. i got to see simple plan and green day live in concert at the sydney superdome, which was so unforgettable. the crowd made the armosphere ten times more enjoyable. it was fun walking around town as there are many good sights for taking pictures, trying international foods, hanging out, and just for relaxing. i definitely wanna go back someday!

Sydney has moved very close to the top of my list of favorite cities in the world. What a great place! The sites are impressive and the people are great! Good food, good jazz clubs, great weather...what more could you want?

I loved everything about Australia. The people are wonderful and very caring. The shopping is great and the food is unreal. I did not meet a stranger the whole time I was there. The country is just great! Met many wonderful friends and visited many great places. It is a place that everyone should see at least once in their life. You may go for a visit and never want to leave!

This city (and country) is a must see! We went to Australia for our honeymoon for a month and we ended our stay in Sydney. This city is a great place to relax, eat great food and take in the gorgeous scenery. Also, there is SOOOO MUCH to do and see!! There is an excellent open air street market on the weekend and a wonderful dinner cruise through Sydney Harbour. Also, you can even walk over the Sydney Harbour Bridge! Everything is within walking distance. If you dont feel like walking there is an excellent transportation system as well. GREAT FOOD and GREAT PEOPLE! 5 Stars!

I've been to Sydney three times because I met my husband there on my first trip. So naturally I can see from personal experience why Yahoo would consider it to be one of the top ten romantic destinations on the planet. Imagine visiting a tropical place like South America's Amazon but staying within the comforts of Western life. Now imagine that it's about as safe and innocent as the US was during the 1950's. That's the best way I can describe Sydney. If you visit it's Botanical Gardens, bring some birdseed and you'll make friends with many of it beautifully colored parots and tropical birds like Rainbow Lorikeets and the White Sulfur Crested Cockatoos nested in palm trees. The weather in Sydney is a lot like the weather in Los Angeles, only it's more humid and they get more rain (but not that much in winter). Also, the food is a lot like the food in the US. ...and in some ways it's better. Imagine a McDonalds that sells gourmet food. Australians seem to like gourmet food a lot. So if you visit a McDonald's in Sydney, check out the McCafe. It's like Starbucks within a McDonalds. The coolest thing about Sydney is the super friendly people you'll meet there. "G'day Mate!" is not just an expression, it describes how people treat each other. Needless to say, I'll be returning. As for the price, because the Australian dollar has gone up in value, your US dollar won't buy as much as it used to. But if you're net savvy, and ask loccals where to find them, you'll find some bargains.
