This is probably one the best places to vacation....i have also been to Dominican Republic, and to me, VA beach is almost just as exciting. VA beach is also close to where i live, so it is convienet....i would reccommend it to anyone who loves outdoors, and is willing to try new experiences such as surfing, parasailing, and the like...good luck! I also would reccomend to make your vacation worth while to stay with Sandbridge Realty...they have awesome beach houses to reant for a week at a time, it's way better than any hotel, and more private.

If you like to pay alot of taxes then this place is for you. The only time there is anything to do here is during the summer when it it soooooooo HOT and HUMID that you start to sweat as soon as you get outside so if you like to spend an entire day in a swamp then this is your place. Traffic is terrible. Dining is pretty cheap because of all the fast food chains here with no real ethnic choices. Most of the general population has a chip and or attitude problem, they think you owe them something, like it was your honor to be here.

As a vacation HOT SPOT Virginia Beach has it all but... IMAGINE LIVING HERE!. After vacationing in VA Beach for Easter Break 2003 my family and I went back up "north", sold our property, packed our things and made Virginia Beach our home! All we could keep saying was "Why doesn't everybody live here?"
