Overall

Columbus is a neat place to visit once and while, but if you aren't from Ohio you might not get it. It is the state capital, centrally located in the state, and Ohio State is here too. OSU sports are huge here and throughout Ohio. I think everyone loves the city for OSU sports. Easton is another part of the draw, because it is one of Ohio's better malls and is actually a fun place to go even if you don't like to shop. There is one cool place to stay called the Lofts Hotel downtown, but there isn't anywhere cool to walk to from it. You definitely need a car and a map to get around this city. Be prepared to get bad advice from locals about where to go out, because they will usually direct you to a Max and Erma's or some other boring place to eat.
