Too many homeless people, too much crime and a lot of bad smell. On the other hand many places to visit, and shops-expensive though.

(Report Problem)Wow, where do I begin? This is the greatest city in the world! There is something for everybody here. There is incredible culture, phenomenal nightlife, Great people, a very convienent transportation system, incredible food and nightclubs, great hotels and world-class shopping, safety, and so much to do! This is undouptedly the 'city that never sleeps'. It is very safe to walk around Midtown, Times Square, UWS, etc. at any hour of the night. There is always action going on, even if you walk back from a nightclub at 4 AM, you'll see some live jazz band playing in midtown. A city needs personality, and NYC deffeniateley has it. This city has so much to offer, everyone successful out there today has made it... everyone from Donald Trump and Regis Philben.... to 50 cent and Alicia Keys. See, I'm from Miami, which lacks everything from culture to safety, as well as climate. New York's seasonal climate adds to the excitement. All I get is sun and 80 degrees, with rain and hurricanes. Walking around Central park in the fall is an absolute must, looking at all the beautiful leaves and colors, and in the spring/summer to see the beautiful cheery blossoms and other beautiful trees. New York is like a winter fairy land in the winter. You have not experienced life, if you have not spend the Holiday season in NYC. First off, the cold weather adds to the holiday feeling. And all the big lights, the tree, the decorations, everyone holding hot chocolate and walking, The sense of magic, love and happiness in the air, The smell of burning leaves and cold, everyone christmas shopping and looking in windows, everyone dressed up in coats on cell phones looking for last minute gifts, the big city feeling, all the excitement, the holiday carollers and christmas jazz instrumentals.. and even the light snow fall in the early evening.. it is absoulutely breathtaking! Summer offers a lot as well. Every weekend (Thurs-Sun), and often everyday, there are lots of outdoor festivals, live music, great weather for shopping, free concerts in central park and great recreational oppurtunities. The only reason there is so much hustle and bustle in the city is because it's so popular! There are millions of visitors in teh streets everyday, making it the most visited city in the world. You just cant help but get excitied and your adreneline going when your in the prescence of all this excitement. I have never been to such an amazing city. Whatever your intrests are, be assured NYC has something for you!

(Report Problem)New York is truly the greatest city on Earth. I loved it, and can't wait to go again. Sure, some people were rude...but people in all cities are rude. The sights and history alone cancel out the rudeness of some of the citizens.

(Report Problem)New York is a place that makes you feel elated, glorious, full of energy and very curious with all the marvelous museums, restaurants, theaters that will give you many precious moments to enjoy forever. I remember visiting the Metropolitan Museum on several trips I made with my husband. We had the privilege to see an Egiptian exhibit: King Tut's tomb on one trip. On another trip I saw a beautifil Russian exhibit featuring Peter the Gret's boots, Katherine's wedding dress, fabergés eggs and so many other wonderful items, as well as beautiful and colorful russian peasant's clothes. One time I visited the MOMA and there was of all wonders Picaso´s "Guernica". Once we saw "Chicago", and many other Broadway plays. I was in New York in July for the Independence celebration in l976, at the time the tall ships came into the harbor What a sight! The emotion was truly fabulous, and when I think that at the door of our hotel, my husband and I were told to watch the celebration in our TV because it was dangerous to walk around New York in those days.I can just imagine if we had been foolish enough not to live that memorable day with all the people who were celebrating! Well, I still can feel New York when I listen to Frank Sinatra singing the song he dedicated to that wonderful, wonderful town.

(Report Problem)New York City rocks, I love the city so much. It's much fun and cool. It's my number one city of my life. There are numerous intresting stuff around this cool city. I love the subway in New York and it's fun to ride on. The streets and the freeways are good looking and it's fun for me to drive around, but there are traffic that gets me bored. I love the park called Central Park, it's a great park to explore. I always remember the Empire State Building, the Statue of Liberty, and even the Rockerfeller Center. As an adult, I want to live here. What I do in New York is explore around the city and ride on buses and subways. It's a city where I can live as an adult for my normal life right there with lots amazing stuff.
