I (heart) NY

five stars

It is THE city that never sleeps. One of the most incredible places on earth and a experience full with surprises. Plan a trip, you won't regret it.

Always friendly

Everything is good about NY. The travels, convenience, stay, people. It is well connected to all other states & cities. Best time to travel is summers & fall.

New York!!!

five stars

I could sit here for days, describing all the great aspects of New York. There are so many different varieties of people, nightlife, restaraunts, etc. This city is always bustlin and full of excitement. All you need to do is stand on the sidewalk and that's enough entertainment! You really cannot go wrong with New York, because there is so much to do. I loved walking around Times Square in the early AM hours, looking at all the beautiful lights. Christmas here is like being in a whole different world. The diversity here is incredible. Food and entertainment are among the best in the world. My advice to all of you, DO NOT try and fit everything in this wonderful city into one visit! There is no way that can be done. Pace yourself, and have fun! Also, do not just stay in Manhattan! Brooklyn is a whole other world, full of great things. Also, check out Statan Island and Long Island in the summer months- great places to hang out. New York-You need to see it to believe it!

NYC...simply...perfect!!!

five stars

You have never lived until you have visited New York City at least once in your life! And dont think thats enough. Were talking about the largest city in a country of now 290+ millon people and 6th largest on the planet. But when it comes to appeal, saftey, food, things to see,and things to buy,NYC is #1.Unless u are just impossible to please,NYC is the best time u can have in a city, just go to TIMES SQUARE.Home to MTV studios,a Toys 'R' Us for kids, the Virgin Megastore and lots of advertisments and bright lights, this place is the heart of NYC.no way can u visit every museum, ride the entirety of the world's largest and probably most beloved subway system here, visit the statue of liberty, climb to the top of empire state building, and eat every cuisine available in the city all in one day. There is so much to love! especially the sounds of the city, the road rage here is the best,it is just so funny! the subway, the people in a rush who if u get in their way they say "watch where ya goin,ya jerk!" (lol) thats me,but im not evil im just a New Yorker, move or get ran over. Lets see what else...there are places to avoid ...Chinatown...the people suck!!! dont waste ur time or money...really,u can stay up all night in the city and still be safe...I do it all the time...especially between 23rd and 59th streets on the West Side and dont make eye contact with anyone on the subway...too many characters.however,NYC people(most) are the friendliest urbaners u can meet. guys...so many good lookin' girls here...diversity!!! girls...same thing...when it comes to guys(lol)! dont mind any fat people u see here, they cant help it...we do have the best f**** resturanuts!!! even the peanut vendors on the corners rock!!! Yankee Stadium cant be beat...neither can the home team...and the Bronx is not that bad neither. dont believe all the myths u hear about NYC being a dirty place, give me a break look at Chicago! or Baltimore,or Detroit, even the dirt here is not that dirty. oh.never take a taxi...anything can happen...even accidents.the subway really is the way to go.People,I live for this city,I'd die for this city,NYC is life, theres nowheres else I can live happily ever after, you come enough, and u'll understand how I feel.

BEAUTIFUL, WONDERFUL

five stars

I lived in NY for 11 years. It is true that it never sleeps. How cool, 24 hours a day you can get anything you could possibly want. You can see a play at 4 in the morning (downtown) or get a pizza delivered at 5. PERFECT for insomniacs... I wasn't one, but I appreciated the nightlife, probably a bit too much. As far as the people go, I LOVED THEM. Straight to the point, no wasting of my time, and if you are on their nerves or they are on yours, they expect you to tell them... "SHUT IT" or "GET OUTTA MY FACE" or "IDIOT!!" HA! NO offense taken. Just another day. I was also there during 9/11. I never would have expected NYC to come together like it did. The most touching time of my life. BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE!!

Wish I could live in NYC for 1 year

five stars

I have been to NYC (Manhattan) 4 times. I have only barely touched on all the things to see and do. I always wish for more time (and money) when I visit. One cannot possibly see it all unless they reside there. It remains my favorite place to visit, and I have been in over 25 states and to Rome and Africa.
