(Report Problem)it's brilliant, its easy to get around there and it's pretty cheap. I didnt like the poverty but when your looking down an avenue, and you raise your head up all you can see is wonderful buildings.

(Report Problem)One of the best places on earth. Was there for Paddy's Day and it was brilliant. Went back last week for xmas shopping and it was amazing value. The one big mistake was booking a hotel online that we did not know. 600 rooms all newly renovated was the way the CARTER HOTEL IN TIME SQUARE was advertised. It was the biggest hell hole I was ever in.. drunks and homeless asleep in corners in lobby, anyone and everyone was walking in, there were 5 policemen with some English girls who had been molested in their room by on of the so called managers. Our room had no sheets on beds, the mattresses were rotten, vomit in the sink in bathroom, dirty mens pants and bottles and cans thrown all about the place. It smelt like someone had died there it was horrendous. Needless to say we did'nt stay 10 mins. Once we found a nice clean hotel our stay was fab. So anyone who is thinking of staying in the CARTER HOTEL TIME SQUARE stay clear

(Report Problem)NYC BABY!! I absolutely loved it, it never truly sinks in that you're actually there it feels like a dream! The Summer weather is brilliant, it's so so hot! The buildings are unbelievably high and you can have a good time just by walking down the street! the subway system was quite good but it's extremely hot down there in the Summer and then freezing on the trains themselves which takes a bit of gettin used to. It's quite easy to navigate your way around as the layout of the city is so logical. The variety of peope is astonishing and adds to the atmosphere. People are mostly helpful but sometimes can be quite abrupt, which I found funny. New Yorkers are busy people and just want to get on with things which is understandable enough. It can be quite loud and dirty in certain areas but that's to be expected in a huge city like this. Chinatown is great and Soho has unique and trendy clothes but at a high price! Times Square at night needs to be seen to be believed and the Statue of Liberty is fantastic. There's so much to do and not too expensive. I want to live there!!!! GO!!

(Report Problem)Great city, all the razmataz you've grown familiar with on the silver screen, and yet an extremely friendly and accommodating city (in Manhattan at least). Great hotels, bars and shops, lots of traffic with crazy taxi drivers - but all in all an awesome city! The Hudson Hotel, is a very swanky and stylish hotel, with a great restaurant and a wicked bar with plenty of beautiful people frequenting it! Enjoy!

(Report Problem)Wow, what a great place, everything from amazing buildings, to great breakfasts and really great shopping. a walk down 5th Avenue, some shopping at Macy's and Bloomie's is an absolute must. Skating around central park under the view of one of the best city scapes in the world is one of the the best things you can do while in the city. Take a yellow cab to a great restaurant in the evening... this city makes you want to go back again and again...
