New York is a place where children play in the footprints of discovery, where our forefathers carved out the perfect location for the most powerful and successful city in the World. New York is the treasure trove of tourism, each vantage point visited draws one deeper into yet another love affair that defines New York.

(Report Problem)I loved everything about new york. I stayed about 3 blocks from time square which was perfect. I went during labor day which was nice because it wasn't as crowded as it usually is. I was also near a few subways which was convenient. I loved going to the top of the empire state building at night, but even then it was very crowded. Some of my favorite things were China town and Canal street. Canal street sells lots of fun accessories and china town has great restuarants. Everything there is very inexpensive. I also liked Central Park, but it was much bigger than i expected. I would suggest going to the visitors center and getting a map and suggestions of places to see there. Also I liked the financial district. I was going to see the statue of liberty, but the boat i was going to go on was canceled because of mechanical problems. If you are going to go on the boat be prepared for a long wait. Overall, i thought new york was a great place. There were always people out no matter what time it was.

(Report Problem)I have been to NYC at Christmas time 3 times out of the past 6 years. I think that it one of the best times to go even though it is very crowded. The decorations, lights, the show at Radio City Music Hall, Central Park, the tree at Rockerfeller Center, etc. are just amazing to see. Sure it's expensive and crowded, but there is no more exciting city to visit, in my opinion. I have found it easy to get around using the subway and I have not encountered a lot of rude people. I would go every year if I could.

(Report Problem)See the city on the films, we in Wales get the impression of a dirty and unkempt place, but these shots put it into perspective and it looks a very nice place to visit. It is certainly a city to be proud of. Kindest regards and greeting for 2005. Michael P.Keohane.

(Report Problem)I loved it! New York is one of the most facinating cities in the world! I went to all the hot spots and more! They have wonderful tourist sites and if people get a chance to, just walk around and you'll find all these secret little bistros that no one really advertises except through word of mouth. I definately think people should travel to New York. It's full of diversity and color, it's beautiful.

(Report Problem)I LOVE Manhattan and have been there five times. What an exciting experience it is to walk the streets, sightseeing, people watching (the best!), the entertainment, the hotels, the history, the awesome architecture of the older buildings, the shopping and great bargains you can find, beautiful Central Park and, of course, the ever fabulous restaurants and deli's. A lot of bang for your buck, too! What I found amazing about Central Park is you get down deep into the park and it's as if the city doesn't exist. You hear nothing - not even cabs honking their horns or emergency sirens. Now, that's something! I'm ready for trip #6. The delusion that New Yorkers are rude and unfriendly is SOOOOO not true! If they don't speak, try saying "hi" first and see what happens. They're awesome and very friendly, hospitable people. I love 'em!!
