i stayed in the plaza, and trust me it's not all it's cracked up to be. the service was very poor and the food was cold and really not that great for its price. the city is to busy to even see the sights and people are always bumping into each other and not even apologising. all the shops ar so busy and clostrephobic that it is to uncomfortable to shop. all i wanted to do was get into my hotel room away from all the congestion, however when i arrived back my room had not been cleaned and the bed was not made, i wouldnt normally expect for it to be however for the amount you pay for a room you expect the toilet to be made of solid gold!!! well i wouldnt recommend it to couples looking for a romantic break because it is so busy you cannot even breathe and that to me is not romantic, and it would never be suitable for children as all the pollution would make them ill as it did me. overall i would not recommend the city to anyone. i have no doubt that some of the quite parts would be beautiful but i am not intending to find out after my experience. sorry to dissapoint anyone.

New York is ten times better than it appears in tv or film. The city is bustling with a social hotch of people who brigthen the city with their infusion of art, food, and traditions. Besides, the obvious New York is a little bit like London. They are both centers of theater, business, and refuge for those looking to escape normality.

When I travel to NYC I like to travel alone. I know, you might think to yourself, who in the world goes to NYC alone? Me. That's who. If you are in NYC and you feel that you are lonely, you should get some help. Fast! NYC is the most amazing city in this country. The cultural diversity is amazing and the opportunity to experience something new is just around the corner, no matter what your budget. If you are into shopping, this is the place for you. Check out all the hottest and most expensive department stores in the world. Everything from Pradda to Versace to Coach and don't forget the worlds largest department store, Macy's. You can honestly spend two or three hours in Macy's and still not see the entire store. I recommend purchasing a metro subway pass to avoid paying for a ticket each time you enter the subway. You can purchase 1 day 1 week or 1 month passes and they are well worth the cost. Try to avoid going to NYC during the cold winter months (Nov. Dec. Jan. Feb.) and also avoid NYC during the hot, humid and sticky summer months ( June, Jul. Aug. Sept.) Take a chance and visit NYC this Spring, and you will understand why millions of tourists each year visit the worlds greateast city, NYC

New York was absolutely AMAZING! The people were kind for the most part. We didnt run into any problems...The New York Public Library is a MUST SEE. Check out the Empire State Building, Rockefeller Plaza, Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty...The tourist type stuff. If you get a chance take a stroll through Central Park or people watch on a bench. I cant wait to go back later this year. :)
