XE Restaurant: quality Jamaican food in Birmingham

An excellent restaurant that serves good, traditional Jamaican and Caribbean food. They get you to limbo into the main room first and once there you see the wall painting which is just excellent - full of scenes of Jamaican life. Then they have all of the traditional dishes - jerk chicken, curried goat with rice, ackee fish - done in a modern way. I took my mother in law there who was born in Jamaica and she gave it the thumbs up - and she is not an easy lady to impress! Check out their site for special offers http://www.xaymaca.co.uk/
