We visited the restaurant on Sunday, 20th April 2008 and we were totally disgusted by the staff’s attitude and rudeness. We ordered a starter and a bottle of wine, both of which were OK and a main course of lobster to share. The lobster was overcooked, very tough and impossible to eat. The waitress took the plates away, and immediately threatened us as we were not prepared to pay for the lobster. We were prepared to pay for everything else. The waitress said she would call the police, as we had disagreed on the quality and the way it was cooked. The police were called and then a complaints form was presented to us. We have absolutely no knowledge of the complaints system in Spain and we were not even given an explanation. The police were very arrogant and rude. We are not what the police considered us to be “the typical British tourist” and have very high standards and knowledge of food. We also respect local laws and customs. We do not appreciate being threatened. AVOID THE PLACE

(Report Problem)Appalling food, starters obviously left by the chef to be warmed later (but they couldn't even get that right), tired salad obviously prepared hours earlier, lobster costing 83 Euros was not cooked properly, ditto cod, incompetent waiter who brought the wrong wine twice (and also to the next table). Awful, awful, awful, ruined our trip to Barcelona. Avoid this place at ALL costs.

(Report Problem)exquisite! wordless..the oldest restaurant in Barceloneta, with nice yet not annoying waiters... it requires a budgent but worths every penny... try even the paella and the nice milles feuilles aux framboises et caramel...a dessert, of course...
