For anyone with back complaints, Christophe's has the some of the most uncomfortable chairs that you are every likely to encounter. Even the twenty somethings in our group found them uncomfortable. This was not a good start to our evening. Some of the dishes were brilliant, such as the scallop starter, fish entree, and a few of the deserts, but others such as the wild duck and the pheasant were mediocre. The pear in red wine desert tasted as if it had been poached or marinated in wine vinegar. The atmosphere was decidedly stuffy. For this price range I would expect better consistency with the food and certainly more comfortable chairs.
