bad experience

This last weekend (April 2008) some friends and I spent 2 days in durty nelly hostel and we are very angry about how it was. The services (bathroom, toilet..) were insufficient for all the people who were there and additionally dirty. When we arrived we had to wait almost an hour because the pevious ocuppants of the room were still sleeping and whne we told it to the owner he became "offended" for aour comments and told us that "Spanish, Brasilian and French never leave the room when they have to". And the worst thing is that the first night we realised that another guest was in our room: a mouse!!! It got into our cupboards and ate the food we had. We told it to the owner of the hostel and he said he knew about the mouse and he just smiled!!! Incredible!! The only good thing about this place is the location within the city (it is in the very centre). I do not recommned this place at all to any person (maybe to some animal...).

Better than I thought it would be

This is a really good pub. It's got a good atmosphere, good food, and cheap beer. What more could you ask for? I went with some friends and stayed there for two nights in the hostel upstairs. It wasn't bad as hostels go, though the guy next to me kept snoring. Other than that it was fairly comfortable. They have a two pool tables, two dart boards and table football. We could have stayed there all the time and never left. We did leave to go see Amsterdam, but we could have stayed and been very comfortable. The only problem would the potential to die from passive smoking, but other than that it was great.

Great for: Groups, Brunch/Breakfast, Cheap Eats, After Hour Eats, Hamburger, Sandwich
