Pleasant Surprise
I have been to Belgrade the last 2 summers and I'm going again. The main problem is as there are no budget flights/package holidays getting there and accomodation can be expensive but once your are there its very cheap for drinks/food/taxis etc.If you are after the clubbing/nightlife scene then ask any of the younger people around Knez Mihaila St /trg Republike area where are the hip/busy places.These changes according to the latest fashions and whatever establishments were busy last year might be empty this year.Dont just wander into places or you might never hit on the right ones and believe me there are some amazing places to party.Another thing it truly is the safest place ive ever been to. Even at 3 am women walk alone through the streets with no intimidation.Another thing is people dont binge drink and get drunk.Its not cool to be under the infuence of alcohol here as far as i could see.

Beautiful city, beautiful girls, good food, interesting nightlife, low prices...What else do you need!!! I was there last November and I am going back next month. And I am looking forward to it!!! Go and see for yourself!

It has great night clubs. Especially great ones are on the riverbanks of two rivers running through this city, Danube and Sava.

Visited Belgrade in July 2004 and loved it plan to visit and stay longer next time. The people were very friendly.

The Clubs are Great. Yellow-cab.co.yu will help you get around the club scene. There is a great deal of historical information. The churchs are beautiful. The best way to get around is on foot or by tram. Taxis will rip you off if they sense a foreigner. The experience wonderful the food is great and the prices are even better. Its a classic old European city. Enjoy it!!!
