It goes without saying that the university colleges are well worth a visit. It has an open air market on weekends as well as most of the chain stores such as New Look and Next. It has several good restaurants and cafes, especially the rainbow cafe - a small vegetarian restaurant. Very tourist freindly as cars are not allowed in the city centre. Great place to go around on cycle.

(Report Problem)I have been to Cambridge a few times and thought I knew it quite well, but some friends and I took part in a Live The City experience- which took us around the city, seeing all the sites. What made it really exciting though, was that they had incorporated a treasure hunt in with the walk - so we had to find clues on the route and did a big quiz at the end! We felt like we were taking part in our own game show. Really cool. I hope Live The City bring the experience to Brighton soon.

(Report Problem)Cambridge is a must for all travelers going to England. The best way to see Cambridge is by walking, and I highly recommend taking a walking tour. Tickets can be purchased at the Cambridge Tourist Information Centre and are a great bargain. Cambridge is full of beautiful architechture and the tourguides elaborate on the many stories behind the landmarks.

(Report Problem)Cambridge was my favorite towne in all of England. Take the opportunity to punt down the river Cam. Stroll across the immaculate lawn at Jesus Green. Enjoy the culture of the many coleges and universities. A fantastic place to visit!

(Report Problem)Beautiful city of antiquity. A must see, visit Darwin's home, or the tree from which the apple fell on Newtons head.

(Report Problem)Cambridge is worth seeing just for the architecture. The white stone is breathtaking, and the medieval style is at its best. Some of the colleges were closed to visitors when I was there, but I did enjoy touring St. John's, and Peterhouse. King's College was the most interesting. The backs were good for walking too. If you like small towns, this one is for you. A few bookstores, some bus tours, small shops, early medieval churches, good food a little hard to find, but certainly there.
