Cambridge is worth seeing just for the architecture. The white stone is breathtaking, and the medieval style is at its best. Some of the colleges were closed to visitors when I was there, but I did enjoy touring St. John's, and Peterhouse. King's College was the most interesting. The backs were good for walking too. If you like small towns, this one is for you. A few bookstores, some bus tours, small shops, early medieval churches, good food a little hard to find, but certainly there.

(Report Problem)Arrived at the visitor center and was able to arrange a guided tour of the campus' and village. Very well informed local guide who was able to give us the history of Cambridge. She suggested a route back to our car that included Cambridge's Botanic gardens which was a "must see"
