(Report Problem)Lived in Brighton for 9 years - has a shelf life! Great for a weekend of boozing with mates if thats your thing! Brigton simply needs a good wash! There is too much of an undertone of criminality, booze culture and over inflated prices - Uber Cool for the not so cool! Keep it!

(Report Problem)Brighton is a really great place to visit - just try to avoid the traditional UK Bank Holiday weekends (I last visited over Easter). Over Bank Holidays it absolutely rammed with idiot, meat head goons sporting lobster red faces that they have worked hard to acquire by sitting in O’Neil’s and consuming 12 pints of wife beater. They parade along the sea front looking for people to beat up (anyone not wearing Reebok classics or a baseball cap is fair game) whilst bellowing "Oy-oy Sav-a-loy" to anyone that ventures within spitting distance of them. The girls that hang around with these scumbags deserve an equally wide berth (indeed WARRANT an equally wide birth due to all the chips that they seem to be permanently stuffing into their gobs). They can be found tottering between the pubs, chip shops and clubs and take sport in challenging passers-by with thei bottles of Bacardi Breezer, "comedy" inflatable penises and flabby sullen breasts. In short, Brighton rocks, but the seafront (especially after 11pm) is best avoided.

(Report Problem)this seaside resort has more to offer than a stony beach and broadwalk. try the great coffee shops, experience the vibrant market and soak up the atmosphere. all within easy commute from London.

(Report Problem)Brighton is a great day out - there are things to do for everyone - whether it's wandering around the Lanes (shopping) or soaking up the rays. It's got a nice relaxed feel about it. One piece of advice though - go by train if you can - especially if you are travelling from London - trains go from London Bridge and Victoria and most take about an hour - you can spend an hour trying to find a parking space in Brighton at weekends and in Summer.

(Report Problem)I've only been to Brighton once, whilst working on the South coast for a summer. It's got plenty to recommend it, but like many popular destinations, things that detract too. F'rinstance, the famed "beach" is too much like walking over pebbles to be too much fun, but by contrast the Pavilion is great, despite the crowds. If you want more beachiness, you're better to head to Shoreham. Shopping is great - lots of shops, lots of wee places selling small artsy things, and the Laines are great for the browser in all of us. The nightlife is famous, lots of pubs and clubs of all kinds of varieties - just watch what part of town you're in. All in all, a good few days out can be had - or you can just visit from London. J

(Report Problem)Young, hip, vibrant, charming, cosmopolitan, shoptastic and all just 1 hour from London! Brighton has it all! Taking in a relaxed gastro-pub experience at the Hop-Poles on Middle St and shopping in the North Lanes are just some of the ways to spend time in Brighton. Of course you could simply sit in one of the many beach front cafe's and watch the world go by which is a great way to spend a lazy sunday afternoon. Brighton Pier is also one of the UK's most visited tourist attractions so there is something fun for all walks of life! I live there I love it !
