far too many bin bags of rubbish on the backstreets-dumped. the atmosphere is threatening -far too many young drunk people waltzing around with cans of special brew in their hands at 2.00 pm in a midweek afternoon!(and i don't think these people were tourists but locals).a serious lack of police presence in the town adds to the fear.rip off cafes and very pushy 'salesmen' whereby the hula hoop guys will swear at you if you walk by them and say no to their 'attraction'.simply it's a no go for families.a drunks paradise.

(Report Problem)I loved it and hated it all at the same time. We were there for a week, staying in a B&B where the peopl really made us feel at home. There are sooo many to chose from I would base your choice on price. We found it very diffcult to eat out, as everything is served with chips or a coating of sugar. We found a nice Indian restaurant, and Itlaian but the nice stuff was expensive. I am from London (so prices rarely stun me too much)and was paying more for a nice Italian meal in Blackpool. I recommend visiting Blackpool Tower, and see the circus.
