We stayed at the medisun hotel in ortakent and it was a fantastic week, the food was brilliant and the barstaff were very entertaining. We went to the viras restaeraunt which served lovely food and the rakkas bar on the beach had an very entertaining nightlife and all the staff from the hotel were there every night! fantastic holiday!

(Report Problem)Stayed in Yahsi, the whole area is lovely not over commercialised as is some of the resorts in Bodrum. Fantistic for all the family with a lovely beach and clear sea. The best place to eat by far is Viras the food, staff, atmosphere everything is perfect. The english girl and her husband have everything right. Superb!

(Report Problem)I have just come back from Ortakent just outside Bodrum and loved it completly, although i would not advise to go in the summer holidays (i went just before on july 10th) as it is very hot and very very busy. The Turks have a fascinating culture and are incredably friendly... forget all of the rumors and rubbish surrounding blonde hair in Turkey, i went with my mum and we both have very blonde hair and ever had any problems what so ever. Yhasi beach (AKA Camel beach) is one of the best it is situated in Ortakent and has beautifull waters and is a official blue flag beach... BEWEAR of the sea urchins though, the water is very shallow ideal for small children although the are alot of sharp spikey corel which are very painfull to get pricked or stand on. The only gripe was that were we were situated in Ortakent was about a 20 minuet walk to the tavernas and resturants.

(Report Problem)Visited Ortakent, Yahsi part of the Bodrum Peninsula. This is such a lovely resort if you like quieter holidays where you can totally unwind and relax. One of the largest bays in Bodrum a Blue Flag resort. All you need in one resort it is a great place for watersports and windsurfing. The best restaurant is Vira's owned by an English Girl and her Turkish Husband the food is fantastic. This truly is a beautiful part of the Bodrum Peninsula.

(Report Problem)Bodum is the most beautiful meditterean town to see. The best time to go is in late summer due to the lessening of Tourist at this time, yet it is still very warm and sunny. You can walk down the narrow streets and shop at the numerous stores that line the streets for miles or you can walk a few meters and sit on the beach eating dolma, a popular dish. The people are very warm and welcoming and will always greet you as you enter their store. There is also much sightseeing to do, especially at the castle. The nightlife is beautiful and fun. You can check out the many clubs/bars or sit on the beach and watch the boats and people go by.
