For the best food and free tapas (a small snack when you buy a drink). Stay away from tourist parts. i.e. Plaza Nueva and the Gypsy area for food. There are a bunch of neat places all over Granada. Take time to explore them. There is a park/garden that is amazing (Garcia Lorca garden) The Cathedral is where the tombs of King Ferdinan and Queen Isabella are. There are tons of great shops near by. However beware of anyone handing you a green branch. They just want you money. Do some research and try to visit Granada during a holiday. The atmosphere is amazing. Everyone is out in the local plazas form babies in strollers to Grandparents.
